A Journey From A-Z

This piece of work was produced in collaboration with Year 7 students. We each produced an abstract map by stitching through paper maps of our local area, the UK & the world, mapping places we & our families had been to, come from, wished to visit or held a metaphorical link to. Symbolism was explored through colour & imagery, looking at cultural & personal links. By joining each piece with a single thread, we have made connections between our individual pieces & our collaboration as a group.
